Hello Everyone:
Whether your Toastmaster Club Officers are elected annually or semiannually, club officers need to be trained twice a year. Training provides an opportunity for club officers to learn or review their role on a periodic basis. Toastmaster believes Club Officer Training is so important to delivering on the Toastmaster Brand Promise: “Empowering individuals through personal and professional development.” that it measures Club Officer Training as a part of the Distinguished Club Program. To receive credit for your club at least four officers from the club must be trained twice a year.
Club Officer Training is open to all members of Toastmasters and provides an opportunity to expand your understanding of Toastmasters and receive additional training in leadership.
For officers to receive credit for their DCP, club officers must attend both breakout sessions. One of those sessions must include the office they hold.
The training will not be video taped. A make up training will be presented on Jan 13 from 9:00 to noon.
