2024 Online Annual Business Meeting

This post serves as notice to all District Council Committee members (current club presidents and vice presidents education, as well as current voting members of the District Executive Committee) of the Annual District Council Committee meeting. The meeting will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, 7:00 PM via Zoom.

The purpose of the meeting is to adopt the following reports: September 2023 minutes, the Realignment Committee report, the Audit Committee report, the Profit and Loss Statement, the District Leader Committee report, vote for the District leaders for the 2023-2024 year, and conduct any other district business as necessary. Electronic voting will be conducted during the meeting. Registration is required to form a quorum and vote on district business.

DEC members must register for the April 18th meeting, especially those who are President or Vice President of a club. Your registration as a club officer counts towards the quorum. DEC members can carry up to three (3) votes.

Please Note: Any officer who has not paid their dues or their club is not in good standing will be ineligible to vote.

Please read the agenda, the supporting documents, and the candidate information before the Business Meeting. It is important that you are knowledgeable about the issues and candidates before voting.

The agenda and supporting documentation will be available on the District website. Notice will be sent to provide the location of the documents for your review.

Voting: Each member of the District Council Committee in attendance at a virtual Council Meeting is entitled to two votes if they are a president or vice president education in more than one club. Each District Council Committee member must cast their own vote. District Executive Committee members are entitled to three votes if they are a club president or vice president education in more than one club. When the voting process is conducted virtually, no proxies are permitted.
